Revision A
General release: 19 March 2007
Low cost multiple interface supporting: CAN-C; SWC; J1850 VPW;
and K-line networks.
Communication to host computer: Ethernet.
Revision A2

Remove R24; passive pull-up on K-line. This makes the passive
pull-up on the K-line compatible for LIN operations.
Revision C
General release: 24 July 2009
Change the 2-wire CAN termination to the "Ford" configuration.
Remove: R18 and R16.
Install: R14 and R15 - 100 ohm.
Install: C20 and C21 - 470 pF.
Install: C22 and C23 - 100 pF.
Revision S
General release: 23 June 2009
Available for installation on any board, only upon specific customer
request. Most useful for customers that need to support CAN bus baud rate
of 1 Mbaud.
Remove 4 MHz external resonator (Y1) and replace it with an 8 MHz resonator
(AWSCR-8.00MGD-T).
Install a wire from U1 pin #109 (PortK bit 7) to ground (nearest is
C3 terminal furthest away from U1).
Revision T
General release: ~August 2008
Modification to change CAN4 channel from Single Wire CAN (SWC) to dual
wire CAN.
Remove SWC transceiver U6.
Install AVT-84x "T" board on top of U4 using both pins of JP3 for mounting.
Install wires from the AVT-84x "T" board to the respective locations
on the main AVT-84x board.

General release: pending as of 5 February 2010
Modification to change CAN0 channel from dual wire CAN to Single Wire
CAN (SWC).
Remove dual wire CAN transceiver Ux.
Install AVT-84x "V" board ...
Install wires from the AVT-84x "V" board to the respective locations
on the main AVT-84x board.
Notice

From now on all AVT-84x units will ship from the factory with all
shunts installed.
The shunts are:
JP1 - single wire CAN
JP2 - K-line (KWP, LIN, and other protocols)
JP3 - J1850 VPW (Class2)
[Previously, shunt JP2 for the K-line was in the "off" or "removed"
position when the AVT-84x unit shipped from the factory.]
