Notes

General Description
Multiple interface.
Communications to the client computer via Ethernet.
It is equipped with the following:
CAN0: 2-wire, (non-FD).
CAN1: 2-wire or Single Wire (software selected), (non-FD).
CAN2: 2-wire (CAN-FD).
CAN3: 2-wire (CAN-FD).
LIN0: LIN or KWP.
LIN1: LIN or KWP.
LIN2 thru LIN7: LIN.

Hardware Configuration
The current default hardware configuration is rev. "EA".
The hardware configuration 'may' be noted in the white "SN" block on the top of the board.

PC Board Revision
The revision of the PC board is noted in white silkscreen on the top of the board near the white "SN" block.
It only changes when the board is redesigned.


PC Board Revision A
Date: unknown.
Original board design.
Status:
Unknown if any were built.
Uses the ATSAME70Q21A-CFN device.

PC Board Revision B
Date: Late March 2022.
First prototype built.
Uses the ATSAME70Q21A-CFN device.
The rev. "A" ATSAM device only supports the original Bosch (non-ISO) CAN-FD operations.

PC Board Revision C
Date: unknown.
None built.

PC Board Revision D
Date: Late June 2022.
Second prototype built.
Uses the ATSAMV70Q19B-AABT device.
The rev. "B" ATSAM device supports both the original Bosch (non-ISO) and ISO CAN-FD operations.

PC Board Revision D2
Date: Late February 2023.
Replaced J13 (DA-15P connector) with AMP/TE # 5747841-6.
This aligns the connector edge with the board edge.
This makes the boards mechanically identical to the production run of rev. "E" boards.
A "rev. D2" label is placed on the board just above J13.

PC Board Revision D3
Date: Late March 2023.
Replaced J13 (DA-15P connector) with AMP/TE # 5747841-6.
This aligns the connector edge with the board edge.
This makes the boards mechanically identical to the production run of rev. "E" boards.
Changed zener diode (D2) to a +18 volt device.
A "rev. D3" label is placed on the board just above J13.
As of 14 March this will be the standard ship configuration.

PC Board Revision E
Date: Late October 2022.
Production board.
Quantity built: unknown.
Changed J13 (DA-15P connector, for LIN2 thru LIN7) to AMP/TE # 5747841-6.
Other minor changes in board layout.
No mechanical changes. The board mechanically identical to rev. "D" and "D2".
