Revision A1
General release: pending as of 17 February 2004
Original release. Two pre-production units built for testing and evaluation.
Revision A2
General release: 8 March 2004
Released for production.
Added ability to upgrade on-board memory to 64 KBytes.
Added SPI interface lines to P2.
Revision B
Never released
Revision C
General release: ~5 May 2005
Corrected memory address line error.
Changed memory footprint to accommodate a larger memory device.
Updated all 2-wire CAN circuits to conform to the AVT-718 "AA" board and
to meet Ford Motor Company requirements.
Revision C2
General release: ~ November / December 2006
Only applies to boards assembled without U23. (See revision "G" notes.)
Install J1850 PWM device, U23, SC370677FN.
For AVT-418 build of September/October 2006; remove Q3 and install MMBT3906
device as Q3.
Revision D
Limited release: 18 August 2005
Added a 2.4000 MHz clock to the top of U10.
Routed the 2.4000 MHz clock to JP2 pins 3 & 4. These are IP5 and IP6.
UART channel "B" is set to external 16x clock.
In KWP mode, this sets the K-line baud rate (using the 52 26 02 command)
to 150.0 kbaud.
Revision E
General Release: 5 October 2005.
Only available for PC boards of rev. "C" and later.
Change CAN-C termination to meet Ford requirements.
Remove: R136, R142, R143, C56.
Install: R128, R129, C70, C71, C72, C73.
Revision F
General Release: 5 October 2005.
On JP1, remove shunt across pins 15 to 16; install a wire from pins 15
to 19.
This modification restores the location of the SWC signal to be the same
as that on all previous AVT-418 hardware revisions (D15 pin #9).
Revision G
General Release ~ 18 January 2007
No J1850 PWM device installed. Board is not J1850 PWM capable.
This capability can be added on request only; see Revision "C2" notes.
Revision H
General release: 18 January 2007
Remove the CAN-C termination resistors.
For PC board revision "A", remove R128 and R129. R136 and C56 may be left
in-place.
For PC board revision "C", remove R142 and R143. R136 and C56 may be left
in-place.
